The Western european Law Students’ Association is mostly a non-profit, foreign, non-governmental institution that promotes the pursuits of law students. Their activities include a selection of professional and academic events. These events serve to enhance the desired goals of the ELSA, which are to promote the advancement of law as a profession.

ELSA was founded in 1987 and is also an independent business that represents the interests of rules students home throughout European countries.
